Even though there won’t be vendors on West Main Street for this week’s 3^rd Friday in Downtown Salisbury, it’s still a great time to support the local shops and restaurants Downtown.  Concerned about social distancing -- not to worry. 3^rd Friday’s virtual event will be filled with online content and links to local retailers, and artisans for all your shopping needs.

If you're headed out this 3^rd Friday, you will be in for a treat now that the lights along Main Street are all lit with sparkling lights.

The Holiday Tree, Menorah and Kinara are all on display making great photo opportunities. Plus, the letters to Santa Mailbox is a great way to get in touch with Santa this year.

If you follow the special instructions, you’ll even get a reply back.

Many of the Downtown retailers have decorated their windows for the holidays, and for a chance at glory – as they are competing in the 2020 Downtown Salisbury Window Decorating Contest, with winners announced on 3^rd Friday. 

Shoppers be sure to check out Lilac Clothing Company, open late just for 3^rd Friday, with 25 percent off the entire store all day long.

You’re sure to find something for that special person on your gift list. Lilac has just restocked new locally made candles from Artisan Aromas and Jellyfish necklaces by Kauriee.

Bomshell Boutique is another great place to stop and shop, as well as, Simply Salisbury, Kaiju Records, The Spot, L. Vondredi, Lurking Class Skate Shop and more.

Plus, you can stop in Angello’s Scoops or Cake Art for a sweet treat.

For those not headed out this 3^rd Friday, that’s okay too. 3^rd Friday will host a virtual Facebook event filled with holiday cheer, links to local artisans and a very special performance of the Nutcracker by the Eastern Shore Ballet Theatre.

Salisbury is very lucky to have a top-notch ballet company, and we are thrilled to be able to share their 2020 performance with all of you.

The online event will also feature links to the Salisbury Art Space online bazaar, shopping links for 3^rd Friday vendors, and more.
