GEORGETOWN — Sussex Technical High School hosted its annual Advisory Night Nov. 13 where industry professionals and teachers met to discuss the school’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs.
Each of Sussex Tech’s 19 CTE programs is supported by an advisory committee who works directly with the teacher to ensure Sussex Tech students are equipped with relevant skills and education upon high school graduation.
During the meeting, advisory committee members and CTE instructors discussed program improvements, workforce trends, and ways to enhance student opportunities.
