WESTOVER — The Somerset County Local Management Board is working with BEACON at Salisbury University to understand and study community need and access to public transportation.
The process starts with a survey, and there are two upcoming focus group sessions one each in Deal Island and Crisfield.
Somerset County residents age 18 and older are invited to take the survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SCLMBstudy and you may win a $25 Visa gift card.
“Your input is important to the success of this pilot study in Somerset County,” a representative from BEACON stated. “The survey is available online and will only take a few minutes of your time to complete.”
The focus groups will take 90 minutes with the first one 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15 at Deal Island Elementary School. The second will start at 5:30 p.m. and be held Wednesday, Nov. 16 at the Crisfield Public Library. Light refreshments will be provided and all participants will be entered for a chance to win one of two $25 gift cards for their time.
