The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control announced Feb. 13 that the 2025 downstate pond trout season will open for youth anglers under age 16 only on Saturday, March 1, at 7 a.m. The regular downstate trout season for all anglers will open a half-hour before sunrise on Sunday, March 2.
