Sons of the American Revolution award Historical Orations award
DOVER — Alex Budd, of Dover, was awarded the Joseph S. Rumbaugh Historical Orations Award by The State of Delaware Society of the Sons of the American Revolution.
Andrew attends the First State Military Academy and was awarded a medal and a $1,000 scholarship and has been submitted to compete at the national level and the potential for additional scholarships, with an $8,000 top prize.
The Sons of the American Revolution is an organization committed to non-partisan patriotism, education, service to community and the history of the American Revolution, composed of members who are descended from those who fought for independence.
