Somerset County Public Schools schedule holiday band and choral programs

WESTOVER — Band and chorus concerts over the holidays have been scheduled by Somerset County Public Schools.

The first program is 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4 at Crisfield High School for Woodson Elementary School students in grades K-2.

Woodson students in grades 3-5 will be at CHS 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11 with the band and choir concert 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17 at Woodson.

On Thursday, Dec. 5 at 5:30 p.m. the students of Greenwood Elementary School will take the stage at WHS.

Also at WHS, the Princess Anne Elementary School program for grades K-1 will be held at 5:30 on Tuesday, Dec. 10. Morning programs at 9:30 will be held at PAES for PreK-3 on Dec. 11 and PreK-4 on Dec. 12.

On Wednesday, Dec. 11 Deal Island students will be at WHS at 6 p.m.

Somerset Intermediate School’s band and chorus perform 6 p.m. at their school on Thursday, Dec. 12.

On Monday, Dec. 16 the band and choir of Crisfield Academy and High School take the stage at 6 p.m.

The final program is for Washington Academy and High School students and set for 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19.

“From joyful choral arrangements to festive band and orchestra performances, the concerts promise to spread holiday cheer and highlight the hard work of students and educators,” a SCPS’ spokesperson wrote.

“Families and community members are invited to attend these free events and celebrate the season with SCPS.”
