SMYRNA — Wyatt Reeves, 18, of Camden, was arrested Wednesday in connection with a previously unreported shooting last summer, Smyrna police said.

Lt. Brian Donner said Mr. Reeves was taken into custody at a residence in the 900 block of Tobacco Road, Camden. Dover police had sought the teen for firearms offenses and assisted in the arrest.

No one was injured in the shooting, which occurred in June at George C. Wright Jr. Municipal Park, police said.

Smyrna police charged Mr. Reeves with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a person prohibited and first-degree reckless endangering.

Dover police charged him with two counts each of theft of firearm, possession of a firearm by a person prohibited and second-degree conspiracy.

Mr. Reeves was committed to the Department of Correction in lieu of $41,000 secured bond.

Authorities asked anyone with information on the incident at the park to contact Detective Michael Kealty at 302-653-9217.
