Smyrna High won’t have to wait long to get another shot at Caesar Rodney, thanks to the DIAA Division I girls’ soccer bracket that was announced today.

The third-seeded Eagles will host the No. 6 Riders on Friday at 6 p.m. in the Division I state quarterfinals. CR beat Smyrna, 2-1, in overtime last week to win the Henlopen North title.

Polytech also made the Division I field as the No. 7 seed and will play at second-seeded Appoquinimink on Friday at 6 p.m.

In Division II, Henlopen Conference champion Indian River is the fourth seed to earn a first-round bye. Ninth-seeded Sussex Academy will travel to No. 8 Brandywine on Wednesday 4 p.m. in a first-round matchup.
