Tuesday, November 28th is National Giving Day, or Giving Tuesday, and Smith Island United is again participating in the Giving Days through The Shore Gives More campaign hosted by the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore (https://www.shoregivesmore.org/).
“Our goal is to raise $5,000 in support of our vision plan, which focuses on how Smith Island will look, feel, and thrive in the coming decades,” said Eddie Somers, president.
“Smith Island United is truly an all-volunteer group, with no payroll or compensation. We rely on charitable contributions and appreciate your support. Thank you for helping us to ensure the future of Smith Island.”
