Sipple: Suspensions should be served at school

Posted

School suspensions should definitely be spent in school. Most kids look at suspension as a mini vacation. At home, they can watch movies. Stay on social media. What kind of punishment is that?

They need to go to school and serve their suspension after school. No phones. No talking. Make them read a classic book and do a report on it afterward. Maybe watch a movie they could learn something from. Just don’t let them sit there and do nothing. Make the time count.
