Seaford man arrested on robbery charges

SEAFORD - Tyshae Williams, 31, of Seaford, was arrested on Thursday following several robberies of the Valero Shore Stop and Dunkin Donuts through October and December 2021, authorities said.

Seaford police spokesman Deputy Chief Michael Rapa said four armed robberies were reported at the Valero at W. Stein Highway and another at the Dunkin Donuts at 500 Bridgeville Highway.

Mr. Williams was arrested at his home and arraigned in Superior Court.

Charges included five counts each of first-degree robbery, possession of a deadly weapon during commission of a felony, possession of deadly weapon by person prohibited, and carrying concealed weapon, along with a count of tampering with physical evidence.

Mr. Williams was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $100,000 cash bond.
