MEN, Delaware 94, Moravian 55: Dylan Painter recorded his fourth double-double of the season with 18 points and 14 rebounds as the Blue Hens (9-3) cruised to their fifth win in a row against the Division III Greyhounds.

Jameer Nelson Jr. added 17 points on 7-of-8 shooting and dished out a season-high five assists. Ryan Allen, who became UD’s career leader in three-pointers made, contributed 13 points while Gianmarco Arletti also scored 13 points to go with seven rebounds, three assists and four steals.

After the teams were tied 8-8 in the early going, the Hens took control by scoring 19 of the next 21 points to take a 27-10 advantage midway through the opening period.

“It’s nice to finish this stretch with a win,” said UD coach Martin Ingelsby. “I’m happy with how we shot the ball, hitting 10 threes in the first half. We want to be unselfish on offense; we have weapons and guys coming off the bench who can make shots. I’m glad we could get some other guys extended minutes, it’s a long season and we’re going to need them down the road.”

Delaware, which played without Andrew Carr (thumb) and Jyare Davis (chest tightness), shot 48.6 percent from the field and attempted a school-record 38 three-pointers.
