Robbery at Dover liquor store investigated

DOVER — A robbery at the Kent Liquor Mart Friday night is under investigation by Dover Police Department.

Dover Police Department spokesman Sgt. Mark Hoffman said a 23-year-old employee at the store said three Black males entered the store, wearing dark clothing, gloves and masks at approximately 9:56 p.m.

All three suspects were allegdly armed with handguns and stole an undisclosed amount of cash and liquor bottles before fleeing on foot to a nearby vehicle. The employee was not injured during the incident.
