DEWEY BEACH — The Rehoboth Beach – Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce will host weekly movies and bonfires.
The movies and bonfires in Dewey Beach, sponsored by Weis Markets, have been a major success this summer, officials said. Crowds of 200-300 people are enjoying the evening events on the beach.
Movies start at approximately 8:30 p.m. on the beach at Dagsworthy Avenue in Dewey Beach. Movies are donation based. See the following schedule for dates and movie titles:
Bring your family and a beach chair to Dagsworthy Avenue in Dewey Beach on Wednesdays for a bonfire on the beach from 7 to 9 p.m., $1 donation gets roasters a marshmallow and you can borrow a stick for roasting. See the following schedule of bonfire dates:
Free parking in Dewey Beach, Monday-Wednesday, 5 to 11 p.m.

Notice of cancellation will be posted to the Rehoboth Beach – Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce’s Instagram and Facebook page. For afterhours recording, call the Chamber at 227-2233. Staff will notify Dewey Beach accommodations of cancellations made prior to the start of an event. If weather is clear, events will take place as scheduled but may end early due to weather conditions.
