Shorewomen Lacrosse captains
Washington College women’s lacrosse Head Coach Kate Fowler has named seniors, midfielder Anna Bennett (Phoenix, Md./Garrison Forest), defender Meghan Dean (Mayo, Md./South River) and defender Catherine Keirn (White Hall, Md./Notre Dame Prep) as team captains for the 2021 campaign Bennett is serving as a captain for the second straight year, while Dean and Keirn are captains of Shorewomen Lacrosse for the first time.
“Anna, Meghan, and Cat have already been doing a tremendous job of leading our team since the end of last season, and we couldn’t be more excited for them to take on the captain role in a more formal capacity,” Fowler said. “Their teammates acknowledged the many leadership characteristics all three possess in the voting process, and as a coaching staff we can’t wait to continue working with them to set the tone for this spring.”
