Question of the Day: New option for “workforce housing”?

Here is the Question of the Day:

Sussex County is considering a new permitted use that would fast-track Coastal Area developments up up to 12 units per acre with 30% set aside for “workforce housing” and bypass Planning & Zoning Commission and County Council public hearings. Municipalities in the county would have the same options through the Development Area and Town Center designations. What other ways could the county increase affordable housing for the workforce?
