Question of the Day: How do you remember Gov. du Pont?

Posted

Here is the Question of the Day:

Former Delaware Gov. Pierre S. “Pete” du Pont IV, who died in May 2021, was memorialized at a service Saturday. Among those paying tribute was conservative writer George Will, who said “As Pete understood, our political adversaries can and should be friends.” He was elected governor in 1976 when the state was in fiscal crisis, working with both sides of the aisle to restore financial stability. What are your favorite memories of Gov. du Pont?
