DOVER — Delaware State Police on Monday identified Brenden Harmon, 22, of Felton Monday as the person who was shot and killed Sunday, at a residence in the 1500 block of Nathaniel Mitchell Road.

There was no suspect information available Monday, DSP spokesman Master Cpl. Gary Fournier said.

The two other males ages 25 and 19 remain in an area hospital and are in stable condition. The 25-year-old female victim is currently hospitalized in stable condition.

According to police, the initial investigation revealed that there was a party at the residence on Nathaniel Mitchell Road where subjects were standing in front of the residence. A vehicle approached the residence with an unknown number of occupants.

At that time, numerous rounds were fired at the partygoers standing in front of the residence, resulting in five people being struck, police said. The suspects then fled in an unknown direction.

This case remains an active and ongoing investigation being conducted by the DSP Homicide Unit. Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact Sgt. Yeich by calling 741-2703. Information may also be provided by calling Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333 or online.
