Police investigating dead body found in Lincoln area
LINCOLN — The Delaware State Police are investigating a dead body found on the side of the road in the Lincoln area.
Delaware State Police spokesman Senior Cpl. Leonard DeMalto said troopers responded to the area of Staytonville Road west of North Union Church Road for a report of a subject lying near the roadway at approximately 1:30 a.m. Sunday.
When troopers arrived on scene, they discovered an unknown male subject who was deceased. The male has yet to be identified, and Senior Cpl. DeMalto said the investigation is still ongoing.
