Police identify child in fatal Milford crash
MILFORD — Delaware State Police on Friday identified the child who died two days earlier in a crash on Slaughter Beach Road as Elridge D. Brundge, 2, of Dover.
Police said the child was struck by a vehicle while standing in the westbound lane of Slaughter Beach Road for unknown reasons. The incident occurred at approximately 8:05 p.m.
The child was transported to an area hospital before being moved to Nemours Children’s Hospital, Wilmington. While en route to Nemours, he was pronounced deceased.
