Police identify Camden crash victim

CAMDEN — Delaware State Police on Monday publicly identified Thomas J. Stubbs, 74, as the victim in a fatal pedestrian crash on Saturday on Westville Road.

Police said Mr. Stubbs suffered fatal injuries when he was struck by a vehicle while mowing the ditch in front of his residence at approximately 7:53 p.m. The vehicle left the road for unknown reasons, spokesman Master Cpl. Gary Fournier said.

The crash remains under investigation by the Troop 3 Collision Reconstruction Unit.
