Police ID victim in Sunday crash in Harrington

HARRINGTON — Delaware State Police identified Angela M. Stafford, 34, of Dover, as the victim of a Sunday motor vehicle crash on south Whiteleysburg Road.

Ms. Stafford was driving a Ford Ranger at approximately 12:40 p.m. when she began to lose control approaching a right curve. The truck’s right tires traveled off the road, then back, and the vehicle crossed over into the north lane, police said. The Ranger then overturned as it traveled off the east edge of the road, before coming to rest.

Ms. Stafford was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
