MILLSBORO — Delaware State Police on Thursday publicly identified Jesse Verdugo-Navarro, 16, of Millsboro, as the teen who died in a motor vehicle crash late Tuesday.
The youth was the front-seat passenger in a vehicle that crashed in the area of DuPont Boulevard, north of Delaware Avenue, in Millsboro at approximately 11:55 p.m., police said, adding that he was not wearing a seat belt.
The car’s 16-year-old male driver, also of Millsboro, was wearing a seat belt, transported to an area hospital with minor injuries and released. A 17-year-old male passenger from Milford was not wearing a seat belt, taken to an area hospital and admitted with non-life-threatening injuries.
