The town of Georgetown kicked off the holidays with its annual  Christmas on Thursday.

The parade is a partnership between the Greater Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and the town of Georgetown.

This year's parade had 95 entries.

Organizers are thrilled with the number for entries, noting it was the largest – as far as the number of attendees/spectators who came out for the parade, according to Linda Price, Greater Georgetown Chamber of Commerce president/executive director.
