WILMINGTON - Caesar Rodney High's dream of winning the school's first DIAA baseball state championship in 39 years fell short on Saturday night.
No. 13 Salesianum rallied for five runs in the fifth inning to down the No. 6 Riders, 7-3, at Frawley Stadium.
Caesar Rodney was playing in the baseball finals for the first time in 30 seasons.
