One person injured in Townsend plane crash
TOWNSEND — One person was reportedly injured in a plane crash in the 1200 block of Caldwell Corner Road Friday, Delaware State Police said.
Police were at the scene around 2 p.m. and had provided medical assistance and assisting federal investigators, according to spokesperson Lt. India Sturgis.
Lt. Sturgis said state police would release no further information and directed any request to the Federal Aviation Administration or National Transportation Safety Board.
