CAMBRIDGE – Jump-start the spirit of gift giving at Dorchester Center for the Art’s Merry Market. DCA has transformed its gallery into a whimsical and artful shopping experience.

This special event features artists displaying a wide variety of unique, hand-crafted items such as jewelry, fiber, traditional arts and crafts and a select group of custom-designed decorative wreaths.

Event dates are Nov. 3-25 and Dec. 1-23. Join us for one or both Second Saturday receptions held Nov. 11 and Dec. 9 from 5-7 p.m. Both promise to be a night to remember with light refreshments, live music and an opportunity to meet the featured artists.

Dorchester Center for the Arts is committed to supporting and uplifting local artists. We invite you to come see what the Merry Market has to offer you and your loved ones this holiday season.
In addition, DCA has created a Holiday Craft Gallery where visitors can stop in for tea or hot chocolate and make a wreath or holiday craft item. Other seasonal activities at DCA include two pop-up open mics: Nov. 14 and Dec. 12, 6-9 p.m., plus a free holiday concert in the George B. Todd Performance Hall with the Chorus of Dorchester on Dec. 12 at 7 p.m.
For more information on other activities and events at DCA, stop by 321 High St., call 410-228-7782 or visit online at dorchesterarts.org. As the designated County Arts Council for Dorchester, the Center for the Arts is committed to increasing access to the arts for all members of the community by supporting extensive outreach and educational opportunities in the arts. Programs at DCA are supported by the Maryland State Arts Council. Find us on Facebook.
