REHOBOTH BEACH — The first Towers Comedy Festival will take place in Rehoboth and Dewey beaches the first weekend in November.

It will feature Joe Gatto from “Impractical Jokers” and comedians Tig Notaro, Matteo Lane, Hanna Einbinder, Rory Scovel and Carmen Christopher.

“We are excited to bring world class comedy to the Delaware beaches and grow the festival in future years to be one of the largest on the East Coast,” organizers said in press release Thursday.

In the fest’s inaugural edition, more than 20 nationally touring standup comics will visit the beach area Nov. 3-5.

The main venue will be the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center, a space that will include beer and wine service. Event officials note easy parking in the off-season.

Additionally, there will be shows in coastal bars and restaurants, to be announced in the weeks and months to come.

The convention center will see Mr. Gatto on Nov. 3 at 7 and 9:30 p.m.; Ms. Notaro from countless comedy specials, “Army of the Dead,” “Star Trek Discovery” and Rolling Stone’s “Top 50 Comics of All Time” on Nov. 4 at 7 and 9:30 p.m.; Mr. Lane from Netflix’s “The Comedy Lineup” and “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” on Nov. 5 at 9:30 p.m.; and a headliner showcase with Ms. Einbinder from the HBO series, “Hacks,” Mr. Scovel and Mr. Christopher on Nov. 5 at 7 p.m.

Organizers for the event are from the Arlington (Virginia) Cinema and Drafthouse, which produces national comedy shows at theaters in Arlington, Washington and other venues.

More performers will be revealed throughout the summer at towerscomedy.com, where tickets for the announced shows are on sale now.
