My Roma Pizza break-in in Dover under investigation

DOVER - The Dover Police Department is investigating a break-in at My Roma Pizza early Saturday morning, spokesman Master Cpl. Ryan Schmid said.

The investigation began when officers were called to the business for a burglar alarm. Upon arrival, they found that a window to the business at 1008 Lafferty Lane had been broken, allowing the suspect or suspects to enter at around 1:34 a.m.

Police said that once inside the suspect or suspects removed an undisclosed amount of money from the business and fled in an unknown direction. There is no suspect description available at this time.

Police asked anyone with information to call 302-736-7130. Callers may remain anonymous. Tips may also be submitted to law enforcement through Delaware Crime Stoppers at 800-TIP-3333 or online at delaware.crimestopperweb.com; a cash reward is possible for information leading to an arrest.
