Millsboro man charged with murder

MILLSBORO - Michael Klein, 57, of Millsboro, was charged with murder following a homicide investigation that began earlier this month, Delaware State Police said.

According to Senior. Cpl. Leonard DeMalto, Louis Fetrow, 64, of Millsboro, was found deceased on the Baywood Greens golf course property on June 7. Police said he had been stabbed multiple times prior to the discovery.

Police said Mr. Klein was determined to be a suspect. He had been incarcerated at Sussex Correctional Institution on unrelated charges incurred after this incident. On Thursday, an arrest warrant for Mr. Klein was drafted.

Mr. Klein was charged with first-degree murder, and possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony. He was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on $1,060,000 cash bond.

The state police Homicide Unit is investigating this incident. Detectives are asking anyone with information regarding this case to contact Detective A. Bluto by calling 302-741-2859.
