Milford police to get up to $500K to replace aging radio systems

The Milford Police Department will be getting up to $500,000 to replace its aging radio systems ahead of the department’s move to the new facility. The City Council authorized the purchase of at least three of four radio consoles requested by the chief at a meeting Monday. The funding will come from contingency money set aside for the police station construction project.
