Milford man stabbed at party early Monday

DOVER - A 30-year-old Milford man was stabbed while at a party at St. Andrews Lutheran Church early Monday, Dover Police spokesperson Master Cpl. Ryan Schmid said.

Cpl. Schmid said that investigation began at approximately 3:01 a.m. when Dover Police received a report that the man was at a hospital in Milford advising that he had been shot. The ensuing investigation determined that he had been in an altercation when stabbed by a man, police said. The time of incident was listed as 2:45 a.m.

Police said the man was transported to the Milford area hospital in a private vehicle and dropped off. The victim was treated at the Milford area hospital and listed as “non critical” condition.

Investigation is ongoing and police asked anyone with information to call 302-736-7130. Callers may remain anonymous.
