Maryland murder suspect arrested in Dover

DOVER — A 23-year-old man suspected of murder in Maryland was arrested at a city hotel Saturday, Dover police spokesman Sgt. Mark Hoffman said.

Ryshon Kelly of Cambridge was taken into custody without incident at Relax Inn, 640 S. DuPont Highway, at approximately 8:15 a.m. Dover police and the U.S. Marshals’ First State Fugitive Task Force (assisted by the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force) made the arrest.

Mr. Kelly was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution, Georgetown, pending his extradition to Maryland for multiple charges stemming from an October 2020 homicide in Dorchester County, police said.
