    MaryAnn Curry of Melbourne, FL passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, with her beloved husband of 61 years and her son by her side.
    MaryAnn was born in 1936 in Milford, Delaware and was the daughter of Edward Carroll Reed and Beatrice Mae Scott.
    She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who was devoted to her family and many friends during her life. She had a great love of animals and had an amazing “green thumb” when it came her passion for tending flowers and plants.
    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons Ronald Lee Darling, Jr. and John E. “Jack” Curry as well as two sisters Gloria Walsh and Alice Mae Bryant.
    She is survived by her husband John R. “Bob” Curry, her son Dwain R. “Bob” Curry and his spouse, Janet, grandchildren John Lawrence “Jack” Curry and Alyssa Jyden Curry, Ronald Lee Darling, III, his son Ronald Lee Darling, IV, and Brianna Scott (Tyler) and their daughter, Avery Mae; two step-brothers, a step-sister and their spouses, Raymond Scharff (Cathy) and Norman Scharff (Dee); and Joyce Counts (Tom); many nephews and nieces, great nephews and great nieces, and two close friends she considered as family, Jonathan “Lee” and Michelle Barber.
    Services will be held, with a viewing beginning at 10:00am at the Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E Lebanon Road (Rt. 10), Dover, DE 19901 on Saturday, May 17, 2025. A service will follow at 11:00am, followed by a procession to Odd Fellows Cemetery, 35 Rising Sun Road, Camden-Wyoming, DE, 19934 for the burial service around noon.
