Mary Joyce Edwards

Mary Joyce Edwards, age 75, of Millington, MD passed away on September 16, 2024 in the University of Maryland Hospital, Baltimore.
Mrs. Edwards was born on October 26, 1948, daughter of the late William Floyd Rash and Helen Maule Rash. Mary was a 1966 graduate of Galena High School. She attended Best Beauty School and worked as a beautician in the area, she later worked as a secretary for Poore's Propane for 20 years. She was a lifetime resident of Millington and a life member of the Community VFC Ladies Auxiliary where she had served as president, secretary and treasurer.
Mary enjoyed camping at Chincoteague, VA and spending her winters in Florida with her husband Barry.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Bryan Edwards in July.
Mary is survived by her husband of 55 years, Barry N. Edwards; children, Michael Edwards (Shannon) and Julie Amado (John) all of Millington; grandchildren, Kody, Joshua, Chyanne, Elisbeth, William and Andrew Edwards and a great grandson Domenick Detizio.
A Celebration of Life for Mary will be held on Sunday, September 29 from 1 to 6 pm at the Community VFC, Millington, MD.
