LAUREL — A 21-year-old Rehoboth Beach man was arrested on drug charges following a Wednesday traffic stop, Delaware State Police spokeswoman Master Cpl. Heather Pepper said.

Driver Brandon D. Camper was traveling 75 mph in a 50-mph zone on County Seat Highway when stopped at approximately 9:06 p.m., authorities said.

An odor of marijuana was detected, and a drug investigation ensued, Cpl. Pepper said.

A computer check determined that Mr. Camper had an active warrant out of a Justice of the Peace Court for failing to appear. He was taken into custody without incident, and a search of the vehicle was conducted. Located in the car were drug paraphernalia and approximately 166.12 grams of marijuana, police said.

Mr. Camper was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while suspended and speeding. He was arraigned in JP Court 3, Georgetown, and released on his own recognizance.
