Kate the Chemist coming to Georgetown
GEORGETOWN — The Kim & Evans Family Foundation will host Dr. Kate Biberdorf, aka Kate the Chemist, at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. March 25 at Sussex Academy Elementary School.
The chemistry professor, entertainer and bestselling author is known for her exciting demonstrations, during which she blows materials up, seeking to engage an audience who might otherwise be intimidated by science. She has been featured on TV shows like “Today,” “Late Show With Steven Colbert” and “The Kelly Clarkson Show.”
Tickets can be purchased in advance for $30. The foundation is also seeking sponsors.
