The Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce (CDCC) is thrilled to announce that, after a hiatus of over a year due to the pandemic, Kent County Open for Business is coming back! This FREE business development session will begin again on Thursday, July 1 at 8:30 a.m., at Kent County Levy Court, Room 220. The CDCC is so excited to be able to again offer this incredible service designed to encourage and support small business throughout the state.

Are you interested in obtaining a business license and registering your business in Delaware? Do you need help filing as a new employer in the state so that you can begin the hiring process? Are you looking for space? Are you seeking financial assistance in the form of loans and grants? Would you like to learn about special programs and incentives for first time business owners?

There are so many aspects to starting or expanding a business and such a variety of agencies and services that can help. Leave it to your CDCC to find a way to assemble them all in one room for a one-stop-shopping experience that can easily and efficiently connect you with the resources you need!

On the first Thursday of each month, a plethora of resource partners assemble in Room 220 at Kent County Levy Court. People who are interested in starting or expanding a business are given access to these various organizations, agencies, and resource partners whose mission is to assist small businesses in Delaware. Representatives from these varied agencies and organizations are happy to answer questions, share valuable information, and get you started on the path to a strong, successful business.
