DOVER — The Dover chapter of the Military Officers Association of America will hold its monthly dinner Thursday at The Greene Turtle Sports Bar & Grille, 391 N. Dupont Highway.

The guest speaker will be Kent County librarian Dr. Hilary Welliver. She is a published writer, interactive storyteller, adjunct professor and avid reader.

A social hour starts at 5, with dinner at 6. A business meeting will follow, with adjournment no later than 8.

Guests may attend, but association membership is open only to active-duty, former or retired and National Guard or Reserve commissioned and warrant officers of the uniformed services and their surviving spouses.
