The Kent County Levy Court Department of Public Safety will honor survivors of cardiac arrests at a ceremony on Wednesday.
It begins at 6 p.m. in the Levy Court Chamber.
The Cardiac Arrest Survivor Ceremony is a celebration of life, resilience, and the incredible stories of cardiac arrest survivors who have been given a second chance at life through the quick and skillful responses of first responders and emergency medical services staff.
The event will also feature award presentations for first responders.
This week marks National Emergency Medical Servies week, and the county has openings for paramedics.
