DOVER — The Kent County Association of REALTORS is now accepting applications for their one $1,500 and six $1,000 scholarship awards.

The awards are given to high school seniors residing in Kent County, and attending a public or private high school or enrolled in any other accredited educational program and planning on attending college, pursuing a four year (or longer) major.

Beginning in 1995 the KCAR Scholarship Foundation gave out its first $500 scholarship. Since then the awards have grown to as many as seven recipients each year.

In the past 20 years, the foundation has awarded over $70,000 in scholarships to deserving young men and women.

Scholarship applications are available at public and private high schools in Kent County. The application is available for download or to apply online.

Contact the Kent County Association of REALTORS® office at 678-9750 for more information.
