He graduated from Baltimore City College High School in February 1963 and shortly after enlisted in the U.S. Air Force Reserves achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant, serving from 1963-1969.
Ken had a great entrepreneurial spirit and had many occupational ventures over the years including maintaining swimming pools during a short residency in the British Virgin Islands. He enjoyed many years of summer vacations with his family in Cape Hatteras, NC. He also had a great love for animals and was still missing his fur baby "Heidi" who crossed Rainbow Bridge several years ago.
