Judy Lynn Wysong

Judy Lynn Burton Wysong, age 84, of Cottonwood, AZ, passed away on July 26, 2024. Born on February 26, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Marion and Eva Lawson Burton. Her husband, George and pet dog, Toby, preceded her in death. Also, two sons, Daryl Wormington and David Ferrell, preceded her in death years before.
Judy was a graduate of Marion High School, salutatorian of the class of 1958. She attended Baltimore Institute of Art and later worked as postal supervisor, caretaker, dog sitter, etc. She was raised on a farm in Marion and enjoyed horseback riding, dancing, hayrides and all outdoor sports. Living in AZ and Washington State, she took up skiing and snowmobiling. Also, she had traveled every state in the U.S. She frequently visited her sister, Sally and mother and cousin Pam in Crisfield and had lots of friends.
When she had visitors, she made sure they enjoyed all the sights and then some.
She is survived by two sons, Sean Thomas (Jennifer), Citra, FL and Mark Chambers (DeDe), Surprise, AZ, sisters, Sally Tyler, Crisfield, MD and Wendy Hildreth, Salisbury, MD, brother, Jeff (Jo) Burton, Wenatchec, Washington. Also, grandchildren, many cousins, nephew, nieces, and church members and brothers-in-law, best friends, Margie and Patricia.
