Judy Lynn Woody, a beloved housewife, passed away unexpectedly on April 11, 2025, at Bayhealth Sussex Campus in Milford, DE. Born in Milford, DE, on January 23, 1945, Judy was a vibrant spirit who touched the lives of many.

Judy was a proud graduate of Milford High School Class of 1963. Over her 50-year marriage to her husband, James M. "Mike" Woody, Judy experienced a life filled with love and adventure, moving frequently due to Mike's service in the United States Air Force. This journey brought them closer together and enriched their lives with each new location.

Judy had a deep love for animals, particularly cats, and she enjoyed finding joy in simple pleasures, such as word searches. Her caring nature and warm demeanor made her a cherished friend and confidante to those who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, James M. "Mike" Woody; her goddaughter, Anna Nordberg; and several in-laws, cousins, and extended family members. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Robert E. Johnson and Marion (Kramlich) Johnson; and her sister Nancy Ann Carmine.

A viewing will be held on April 18, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Berry-Short Funeral Homes in Milford, DE.
