Jerry Lee Adams, 84
CRISFIELD - Jerry Lee Adams died Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Manokin Manor Nursing Home in Princess Anne.
Born in Crisfield September 24, 1939, he was a son of the late Upshur and Alta Somers Adams.
He was a graduate of Crisfield High School class of 1959 and was a retired meat cutter for A&P and Super Fresh Grocery Stores. He was a US Air Force veteran serving from 1959-1963.
Jerry was a member of the former Mt. Pleasant U. M. Church and attended Immanuel U. M. Church. He was also a member of the Stanley Cochrane Post #16 American Legion. He was an avid reader who loved the outdoors. He enjoyed doing yard work, deer hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of almost 54 years, Jean Adams of Crisfield; a sister, Annie Bozman of Moneta, VA; sister-in-law, Judy Crockett and husband Doug; sister-in-law, Janice Kirby and husband Jack; brother-in-law, John Ice; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, George "Buddy" Adams, Charles L. Adams, John M. Adams, Sarah Morgan, and Mary Kyte.
A funeral service officiated by Rev. Jim Riley was Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home where a visitation was from 1-2. Interment with military honors followed in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
