GEORGETOWN - Georgetown town council’s Monday, Sept. 26 meeting agenda includes two major issues.

One is a requested presentation by the Lower Sussex NAACP regarding town funding for Georgetown Historical Society, on whose Marvel Museum grounds flies a confederate flag at a monument site maintained by the Delaware Grays Sons of Confederate Veterans Camp 2068.

Also, is council and staff review and discussion of the Delaware Attorney General’s opinion on FOIA regarding town council in actions by three council members to sign and deliver the check to the historical society.

The public meeting in town hall is at 7 p.m.
