Hebron Volunteer Fire Dept. responds to truck fire

HEBRON — The Hebron Volunteer Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire in Hebron at approximately 11:04 a.m. on Wednesday, May 29.

The Hebron Volunteer Fire Department extinguished a fire involving two 2020 Mack Box trucks belonging to Bay Water Treading Company located at 27000 Ocean Gateway.

The area of origin was the engine compartment. The estimated amount of the loss is $400,000.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

There were no injuries or deaths reported.

Twenty firefighters responded to the fire.
