Hague: Biden to blame for much of nation’s problems

Mr. Bill Clemens, from reading your Opinion, it seems you have forgotten that we live in a republic that affords due process to everyone, not just those you like (“Trump is using delay tactics to evade jail”). What President Donald Trump is doing is not “delaying tactics.” He is using the legal system of the United States to get justice. He is entitled to use every legal tactic that our court system affords. Remember the 14th Amendment? That enshrined the right to due process to everyone. As to your statement wondering the source of Mr. Frank Daniels’ assertion about what Joe Biden said about a “minor” incursion: At a news conference Jan. 19, 2022, Biden predicted Russia would invade Ukraine but suggested there was a split among NATO members about how to respond if Moscow took action that stopped short of sending its troops across the border — something Biden referred to as a “minor incursion” (“Weak leadership causes death of three service members”). This is the quote: “I think what you’re going to see is that Russia will be held accountable if it invades. And it depends on what it does. It’s one thing if it’s a minor incursion, and then, we end up having a fight about what to do and not do.”

There is no question you believe in far-left liberal ideas. Why should I want a tax increase on anything when the solution is to stop spending money we don’t have? Biden has increased the debt by several trillion dollars in the last three-plus years because he keeps printing money. And what do we have to show for it? Inflation that will not come down. I don’t care that it is only 3%, according to Biden. Gas and groceries are still high. When inflation was running 7% or better, the prices went up. They just aren’t going up as fast as they were. People can’t afford to buy a home because interest rates are so high. Credit card debt and defaults are the highest in years. Have you seen the cost of new vehicles?

Immigration ... don’t get me started. The liberal and woke are finally waking up. How are those sanctuary cities and states working out for you? How many illegal immigrants in the last three years, 10 million-plus? Cities are talking of cutting services to accommodate immigrants and everything they are given. Cities and governments are neglecting our veterans and homeless to give everything to these immigrants. Look at crime. How many executive orders did Biden issue that reversed those that President Trump put in place to secure the border as best he could?

At least, under President Trump, illegal border crossings were manageable. What are all the Chinese immigrants doing coming here?

I do blame Biden for most of our current problems. “Malarkey,” I say.
