Habitat homeownership orientations in March

Posted

WILMINGTON — Habitat for Humanity of New Castle County will be hosting four information sessions on their homeownership program in March.

Habitat’s homeownership program gives prospective homeowners the opportunity to partner with Habitat to build a better home and future for themselves and their families. Through partnering with Habitat, homeowners receive a simple, decent, and affordable home at 0% interest. Individuals interested in becoming a Habitat homeowner are required to attend a homeownership orientation session to join the program.

During the orientation session, individuals can expect to learn about Habitat’s homeownership program, the application process, and program qualifications and requirements. Habitat NCC is currently seeking families and individuals for future developments on the Eastside of Wilmington and in New Castle. Those interested in these areas are encouraged to attend an orientation.

Orientations for the month of March are listed below:

•Thursday, March 4, 10 a.m.

•Saturday, March 13, 9 a.m.

•Tuesday, March 16, 6 p.m.

•Wednesday, March 24, 2 p.m.

All orientations sessions are conducted via Zoom. Those interested in attending a homeownership orientation can register at https://hfhncc032021.eventbrite.com/. For more information, contact familyservices@habitatncc.org.
