Gov. John Carney to hold State of the State town hall in Lewes

LEWES — Gov. John Carney will host his third State of the State town hall Thursday night at the Lewes Fire Department, Station 2.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. with a presentation of the governor’s fiscal year 2024 recommended budget, followed by a Q&A session with community members.

Gov. Carney will be joined by members of his cabinet; Sen. Russ Huxtable, D-Lewes; and Rep. Stell Parker Selby, D-Milton.

Dates and times for future State of the State town halls will be released ahead of time as the governor’s town hall tour continues.
